Uff Dah.

Went to join crowd at CoCos restaurant where [livejournal.com profile] lizetta is working. Told the hostess that we ([livejournal.com profile] pdi and me) were joining a party in progress in Amy's section. The hostess asked me to describe the person we were joining. So I did.

I was talking to Amy. Just call me Rosy Redcheeks. She looks very different with her hair back and where a plain white shirt.

We hung around awhile talked with Amy (it was a slow night).

It felt really weird at first. Reminded me quite a bit of going to places where my mother worked after I had become an adult. It just didn't seem like the right relationship. But Amy is quite the professional and I settled down. :)

I'm a few hours away from Observation Day. It's the named day that Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. uses to evaluate perspective employees. Throwing me into the fire and seeing if I get burned. However, it is also a day for me to evaluate them. As much as this could be a very good short-term job for me, if I think the supervisors are expending a lot of energy running in circles, I will opt out. Depends on the team feel of the place.

That said, [livejournal.com profile] pdi posted about two jobs available in a dildo factory. One as warehouse manager and one as a jack of all trades. either of those could be a lot of fun. I've asked him to inquire about the Warehouse Manager job with is source. It's strictly a M-F 8-5 job. I would not mind getting back into that routine.

The nice thing about the DNC job (Grassroots Campaigns) is that it is short-term and I can still have a lot of time to work on my coaching business.

Either way, though, it would be some much needed income. A couple of years in which I can save a $1,000 a month would be very good. Very good.

Love.
