When I don't feel very good

The first thing to go is my sense of humor. And every little annoyance becomes a very big annoyance.

Right now, my eyes hurt. And my fingers and toes feel like they are on a different planet.

And I want to know how I end up living with cat people. Even at my best, I am barely more than tolerating the cats. I'm not at my best right now and I'd like to feed the female to a vicious dog.

Hmm. Maybe a dog. Maybe I could get a dog. No. I've tried that before and it just doesn't work.

SuSE 9.1 bug

This is really fun. The 9.1 install correctly installs my sound card. But any update through YaST incorrectly changes the configuration. Isn't that special.

Now I have to figure out how to tell YaST to stop messing with the sound.

This is NOT fun.

Finally

My desktop is finally running the sound subsystem correctly. I wonder, though, for how long.

And my laptop Xconfiguration changed somehow. :( It took me quite awhile to get the damn configuration running.

Someday, I might try to get sound on it again, too. Maybe.
