Fear is a big time driver in the daily lives of human beings. Big fears and little. Ones we know all about and ones hidden from our view. Mostly the fears aren't about real threats -- especially the ones hidden from us.

I've known for quite awhile that I have a fear of being trapped in some commitment or another. Consequently I don't make many commitments. And often the ones I make take on life or death importance.

When other folks don't have that experience of a shared commitment, I tend to get resentful followed closely by resigned.

That was buried up a fear of success story I've been running. I didn't want to thought of as successful in any area that I didn't feel successful in. But under that is the feeling of being trapped and helpless.

Helpless? Me? Man, is that an old conversation!

Time to pull out the stops on life. It just isn't that significant. Look out world, I'm planning on some earth shaking outrageousness.

Wheeee!
