How egotistic is [info]loveandlight?

59%

Check how egotistic you are.

I'm wondering how they determined that? If they comed my LJ to gather evidence, I would think that MY LJ would show me as 99% egocentric -- I mostly post about me in MY journal.

Lessons to learn more than once. :)

1) One can remain attached to a picture of the future even after one doesn't really want it anymore.
Whew! )
2) Thinking in terms of "all or nothing" results mostly in "nothing."
My latest experience of that )
Love is never a no-win game.

I took a long walk about my extended neighborhood this afternoon. Someone has a stencil and a can of spray paint. Four times I saw a Dubya's head in a cowboy hat. Above his head in big letters it said, "Yee haw." Below his head it said, "is not a foreign policy."

Very nice.

Made some in household a bit nervous. I looked at a< href="http://pasadena.wr.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm"> to see where it was centered. Because it rolled through, I figured it centered a ways from here. A couple a hundred miles from here, it seems. And a 5.0 or better.

It looks as if the epicenter is east of the San Andreas Fault. I'll be surprised if there is no damage.

I like earthquakes. I just don't like the consequences of them.

Edit. I just looked at the map again. Another quake has been added. This one southwest of us in the Pacific Ocean. That must be the one we felt. It registers more in the 5.5 category and is closer.

4.7 2004/06/15 15:29:25 13 mi NNE of Lancaster, CA
5.1 2004/06/15 15:28:48 59 mi SW of San Ysidro, CA

Almost certainly related!

Another edit. Now the one in Lancaster is off the map and not reported in the list. I wonder fi that was an oops?

The moon is very pretty to look at. And it's interesting to visit.

But it sure squeezes and prods the Earth in ways that are sometimes not very healthy for those of us who still live here.

Earthquakes and valcanoes are something like popping a zit. :)

One of the participants in the current Self Expression and Leadership Program makes his living as a personal coach. I don't know what kind, though. For the purposes of this giggle, it isn't important.

This particular participant isn't coachable. He has decided that the SELP coach assigned to him isn't really a coach.

An uncoachable coach?

Sometimes I love irony.
