Made some in household a bit nervous. I looked at a< href="
http://pasadena.wr.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm"> to see where it was centered. Because it rolled through, I figured it centered a ways from here. A couple a hundred miles from here, it seems. And a 5.0 or better.
It looks as if the epicenter is east of the San Andreas Fault. I'll be surprised if there is no damage.
I like earthquakes. I just don't like the consequences of them.
Edit. I just looked at the map again. Another quake has been added. This one southwest of us in the Pacific Ocean. That must be the one we felt. It registers more in the 5.5 category and is closer.
