There are many experiences associated with aging. Many are quite good experiences. A few are far less pleasant.

Without complicating circumstance, it is likely that I will outlive my brother and, less certain, my sister. That would leave me the last living member of my family or origin. It is weird to think of it.

Complicating that look at mortality, is the lost of my childhood heroes and favorite celebrities. Each death of someone who touched or inspired me in important ways -- even if I didn't know them except through roles they played, music the made or interviews they gave -- brings the cycle of life into clearer focus.

I am not afraid of dieing -- I have in the past welcomed the idea -- but I do see how it is possible to give in to bone-deep loneliness.

John Ritter and Johnny Cash are now added to a long list of people I will miss.

You can have anything you heart can wish for...
but not by just wishing.

I've been having a very, very good week.

I think it comes partly from having the modeling jobs. Nothing like having more than the coin jar to live one to alter one's mood. In any event, this has been a productive week. Very productive. I like it when it is that way!
