Just 45 Minutes to Broadway

It's not a train ride, it's the other direction from Broadway and it's only about 25 minutes. And we leave in about 25 minutes.

I used to like to get to the show because it was the only time I saw a few people who had my interest peeked. I don't see those people much more often than I did then, but I have a whole different set of emotions about getting to La Paloma Theatre on Friday nights. And we are talking about adding a monthly Saturday show and an occasional different movie.

The movie has always had me hooked. But there is something more. Something bigger than individuals in cast and audience. Something that draws me closer to the movie in each passing week.

I don't know what it is, but Friday at 11 pm I would move heaven and earth to get to Encinitas to do the Time Warp again.

And I love being a Transylvanian in the show. I knew I would, but I didn't know how much I like the part. It's a good mix of performance and tech.

Well, time to get dressed.
