Shy -- the lie

I have met about a dozen people in the last three or four months who admit to (or even proudly claim) shyness. Of those, roughly half admit to anxiety attacks at various intensities and intervals.

I am proud of myself and happy, happy, happy. I just love it when old, nasty stories dissolve in the light of day and knowledge.

This is what I have to say to that piano teacher of decades ago: You were wrong!

I can play all the way through "Gentle Angry People" with both hands, without mistakes and in time.

Not every time, but still.
