The oh-so-pious Christians (Evangelical, Catholic, and Mormon) who are throwing millions of dollars at Prop 8 (constutional ban on same-sex marriage) have managed to move public opinion by LYING through their virtue.
I am disgusted that they have an ends-justify-the-means mentality (the church I was raised in also had that point of view); and, I am disgusted that so many people are buying it.

Where should I begin . . .
Fear has always been the most powerful motivator. IN the case against same sex marriage fear (and an unsubstantiated fear at that) is the only thing the religious wrong (because there's nothing right about it) can cling to. Sadly fear and lies seem to be working.
