I have to say that as good as our show was when I joined cast -- and it was good -- we have gotten a whole lot better. We had a good showing of Trannies and that always adds to the show. I was a Sexy Lighting Bitch (A good thing) and I got to dance in Time Warp (A better thing).

The Trannie Line just kicked ass. I am pleased. The cast looked professional. We had 15 or so people on or in front of the stage all getting the job done. Ultra Trannie got a few added touches in last night's show. Yeah [livejournal.com profile] taintedimage for taking charge of Trannie-dom.

It was a good night for [livejournal.com profile] blueelephant. He played a Trannie during Time Warp for the first time and did himself proud. He showed up in a killer costume the coat of which he made. Lots of "Oh Wow" echoed through the theater. And he ran the spotlight for the first time. Way to have great energy for the show and cast! Applause to the Harry of the Hour.

The audience was large (a very good thing) with a serious number of virgins. They whooped and hollered during the Date Auction (Kate MCed it and ruled the room!). They played with [livejournal.com profile] cikevin during his Speed Rules and the lingerie contest. They booed during the unexpected (to them and to me - don't know if anyone else in cast knew) trailer for another movie. And they rocked through the entire show!

Because of the Auction, we started much later than usual. Finished faster than expected and still were an hour late getting to Denny's.

Worth every single minute of missed sleep.

We are more than an audience participation rock-and-roll musical. We are more than a Friday night party. We are a community. One filled with tolerance, respect, love, acceptance and glorious fun. To those of us who put ourselves to the test each week, I say "Well met!" I love you and I love what you are up to in the world!

Love,
Lynn
